PC automatically shutsdown after every 30 mins. I have the latest MS Security Essentials installed and running and also the MS Malicious software installed, but none are able to detect any virus or harmful software. Please help in this regard.

Are you getting a bsod ?Please check the event log to see if there is any errors helping to explain what is going on. Also check the c:\windows\minidump folder. Are there any .dmp files created in here with the dates it shut down ? if so please upload them to your skydrive so we take a closer look.Cheers.MyPcHealth ------ Free Tools
